**Raipur, Chhattisgarh:** Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel joined the nation in observing Veer Baal Diwas today, December 26th, commemorating the sacrifices of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh, the sons of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru.
CM Baghel took to X (formerly Twitter) to pay his respects, praising their courage and sacrifice in the face of injustice. He highlighted the significance of Veer Baal Diwas, established in 2022 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as an inspiration for children across the nation to uphold the values of their culture and religion.
Baghel further emphasized the unwavering commitment of Guru Gobind Singh’s sons to defending their faith and country, even at the cost of their young lives. Their selflessness serves as a guiding light and ideal for future generations, he stated.
In addition to his online tribute, CM Baghel participated in various events throughout the day. His schedule included attending the 2024 Annual General Conference of the Adivasi Nagvanshi Samaj in Ghugri village, the Parvatdan (Anna) and Ashwamedha Yagna Mahotsav in Timerlagra village, a seminar at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Raipur, and a ceremony at the Pandri Gurudwara in Raipur. These events underscored the widespread observance of Veer Baal Diwas across the state.
