Wed Dec 25 07:30:00 UTC 2024: ## Pushpa 2: The Rule Continues Box Office Domination, Crosses Rs 1600 Crore Globally

**Mumbai, India** – Despite facing competition from new releases, *Pushpa 2: The Rule* continues its phenomenal box office run, shattering records and defying expectations. The Telugu-language action film, directed by Sukumar, raked in Rs 14.2 crore in India on its 20th day, surpassing the previous day’s collections. This brings its total Indian gross to nearly Rs 1100 crore.

The Hindi dubbed version remains the film’s biggest revenue generator, contributing Rs 11.5 crore on day 20 and propelling its Hindi-language nett collections past Rs 700 crore – a new record. This makes it the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, surpassing previous blockbusters like *Jawan*, *Pathaan*, and *Stree 2*.

Globally, *Pushpa 2* has crossed Rs 1600 crore, making it the third highest-grossing Indian film ever, trailing only *Baahubali 2: The Conclusion* and *Dangal*. The film’s success comes despite controversy surrounding a tragic death at a Hyderabad premiere screening, resulting in the arrest and subsequent questioning of lead actor Allu Arjun. Despite this, audience interest remains strong, with the film’s three-week run maintaining consistent box office performance. The sequel to 2021’s *Pushpa: The Rise*, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, has received mostly positive reviews.
