**Hyderabad, December 25, 2024** – Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy today released “Nuts and Bolts of War and Peace,” a new book by former MLC Yadava Reddy chronicling the history of the Telangana movement. The book aims to document the sacrifices made during the decades-long struggle for statehood, providing future generations with accurate information about the pivotal moments and key figures involved.
Chief Minister Reddy highlighted the importance of preserving the legacy of those who fought for Telangana, specifically praising Yadava Reddy’s contributions and his role, alongside the late S. Jaipal Reddy, in persuading Sonia Gandhi to support the creation of the state. He described both Reddy and Jaipal Reddy as “soft communists” who prioritized ideology over personal gain.
Beyond the book launch, Reddy expressed serious concern over the current atmosphere of fear and unrest in India. He called for a national dialogue addressing the ongoing “undeclared war,” referencing Chinese aggression and the Manipur civil conflict. The Chief Minister emphasized the urgent need to openly discuss these critical issues facing the nation.
