**Chennai, India (December 25, 2024)** – Chennai’s vibrant Carnatic music scene is set to explode with a series of performances scheduled for December 26th, offering a diverse range of artists and venues for music lovers. Multiple venues across the city, including Vidya Bharathi, Maharajapuram Santhanam Salai, Bharata Kalakshetra Auditorium, Srinivasa Sastri Hall, TAG Dakshinamurthy Auditorium, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Mini Hall, 45, Musiri Subramaniam Road, J.G. Hindu Vidyalaya, and M.S. Subbulakshmi Arangam, will host performances throughout the day.
The day’s highlights include the inauguration of the 42nd Natya Kala Conference at Bharata Kalakshetra Auditorium, featuring demonstrations by prominent dancers. A lecture-demonstration on the “Contribution of Veena Dhanammal Bani to Carnatic Music and Dance Forms” will be held at Maharajapuram Santhanam Salai. The 27th Tamil Isai festival will also be inaugurated.
