Wed Dec 25 16:20:00 UTC 2024: ## Knicks Rout Raptors Behind Towns, Anunoby’s 31-Point Performances

**NEW YORK (AP)** — The New York Knicks extended their winning streak to four games with a dominant 139-125 victory over the struggling Toronto Raptors on Monday night. Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby led the offensive charge for the Knicks, each scoring 31 points. Anunoby’s performance was particularly impressive, shooting a remarkable 13-for-15 from the field.

The Knicks showcased their depth, with seven players reaching double figures. Cam Payne provided a significant spark off the bench, contributing 19 points, including an 11-point second quarter that fueled a decisive 40-24 run. Mikal Bridges added 14 points, while Jalen Brunson, despite an off night shooting (4-for-13), still managed 12 points and seven assists. Towns recorded his 18th consecutive double-double (10 rebounds, 7 assists) before fouling out.

The Raptors, meanwhile, suffered their eighth consecutive loss and fell to 1-13 on the road this season. Scottie Barnes (24 points, 8 assists) and RJ Barrett (23 points) led the scoring effort for Toronto, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Knicks’ balanced attack and high shooting percentage (59%). The Raptors surrendered at least 110 points for the 10th time in their last 11 games.

The Knicks’ victory was even more impressive considering Brunson’s uncharacteristic shooting slump. The team’s depth and high-octane offense proved too much for the Raptors to handle. The Knicks next face the San Antonio Spurs on Christmas Day, while the Raptors travel to Memphis on Thursday.
