**Mumbai, December 24, 2024** – Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli has been hospitalized after being admitted by a fan to Aakruti Hospital in Thane. Doctors have diagnosed him with a brain clot.

According to Dr. Vivek Trivedi, Kambli initially presented with a urinary infection and strain. However, further tests revealed a concerning brain blood clot. While the severity hasn’t been fully disclosed, Dr. Trivedi confirmed the diagnosis and stated that a specialized medical team is monitoring Kambli’s condition. Further tests are scheduled for Tuesday, December 24th. The hospital has also committed to providing Kambli with free treatment.
