**THRISSUR, KERALA – December 24, 2024** – Thrissur is set to host Harfest 2024, a six-day carnival celebrating culture, livelihoods, and community from December 26th to 31st at the Shakthan Thampuran Ground. Organized by Gramdarsh Integrated Services Private Limited (GIS) in collaboration with the ESAF Foundation, the event aims to empower nano-entrepreneurs and farmer producer organizations (FPOs) while showcasing Kerala’s rich cultural heritage.

Harfest, winner of the EEMAX Global Awards 2024, offers a diverse range of attractions, including live performances, unique product stalls, culinary delights, a game zone, an amusement park, and various bazaars. The event also features the NABARD FPO Mela, part of a nationwide initiative to boost FPO sales through the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), connecting farmers directly with consumers.

The carnival’s “Fun, Food, Family” theme emphasizes creating inclusive, family-friendly spaces that promote sustainable and inclusive development, addressing socio-economic inequalities in line with the ESAF Foundation’s mission.
