Tue Dec 24 00:00:00 UTC 2024: ## Packers Shut Out Key Defensive Players Against Saints
**GREEN BAY, WI** – The Green Bay Packers will be without two key defensive backs for their Monday night game against the New Orleans Saints. Cornerback Jaire Alexander, who has been dealing with a knee injury, and safety Evan Williams, hampered by a quadriceps injury, are both inactive. This leaves the Packers short-handed in their secondary, especially with Carrington Valentine also sidelined.
The team’s injury report also initially listed several other players as questionable, including center Josh Myers, left tackle Rasheed Walker, tight ends Luke Musgrave and John FitzPatrick, guard/tackle Elgton Jenkins, and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper. However, all these players have been cleared to play. The absence of Alexander and Williams, however, represents a significant blow to Green Bay’s defense.
