**New Delhi, India** – Indigo Airlines has announced a “Getaway Sale” offering discounted fares on both domestic and international flights. Tickets are available for purchase until October 25th, 2024, for travel between January 23rd and April 30th, 2025.
Domestic fares start from ₹1,199, while international fares begin at ₹4,499. The sale also includes discounts of up to 15% on add-ons such as prepaid baggage (15, 20, and 30 kg options), standard seats, and emergency exit XL seats. These add-ons start from ₹599 for domestic travel and ₹699 for international journeys.
## ICAI to Establish 11 Centers of Excellence in Next Three Years
**New Delhi, India** – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) plans to establish 11 Centers of Excellence across the country within the next three years, according to President Ranjit Kumar. Currently, two centers operate in Hyderabad and Jaipur, with a third set to launch in Kolkata in January 2025. The remaining eight centers will be established over the next three years. The initiative aims to promote India as a global hub for accounting and auditing, focusing on financial and tax literacy. The ICAI will also actively promote the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) policy and will host the World Forum of Accountants in January 2025. The ICAI currently boasts over 400,000 members.
## Parle Biscuits Doubles Net Profit in FY2023-24
**New Delhi, India** – Parle Biscuits has reported a substantial increase in its net profit for the fiscal year 2023-24 (April 1, 2023 – March 31, 2024), reaching ₹1,606.95 crore. This represents more than double the ₹743.66 crore profit recorded in FY2022-23. While overall operational revenue increased by 2% to ₹14,349.4 crore, total revenue rose by 5.31% to ₹15,085.76 crore. Revenue from product sales reached ₹14,068.80 crore. Advertising expenses increased by 3.23% to ₹442.81 crore, and tax expenses amounted to ₹499.4 crore. Total expenses increased by 2.54% to ₹12,979.41 crore. Parle Products holds a 100% stake in Parle Biscuits.
