**New Delhi, December 23, 2024** – The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the provisional answer key for the Junior Engineer (JE) Computer-Based Test 1 (CBT 1) examination held from December 16-18, 2024. Candidates can access the answer key, along with their response sheets, through the official RRB websites, such as rrbcdg.gov.in and rrb.digialm.com, until December 28, 2024.

The RRB conducted the CBT 1 exam for 7951 vacancies across various Junior Engineer and other related positions. The exam consisted of 100 questions carrying a total of 100 marks, with a negative marking of 1/3 for each incorrect answer. Candidates can calculate their estimated scores using the provided answer key and compare them against the expected cutoff.

Candidates who have objections to the answers provided can raise challenges until December 28, 2024, by paying a fee of ₹50 per question. The RRB will review all objections and revise the answer key if necessary. The RRB’s decision on objections will be final.
