**ANN ARBOR, MI** – Highly touted linebacker Troy Bowles, son of NFL coach Todd Bowles, is transferring from the University of Georgia to the University of Michigan. The redshirt sophomore will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Bowles, a four-star recruit in the 2023 class ranked as the seventh-best linebacker nationally, saw limited playing time at Georgia. He appeared in five games as a freshman, recording five tackles, and played in only two games this past season. Before college, Bowles impressed at Jesuit High School, posting 103 tackles as a junior and 65 tackles, four tackles for loss, and two hurries as a senior.
The move to Michigan represents a fresh start for Bowles, who will look to make a significant contribution to the Wolverines’ defense.
