**Thiruvananthapuram:** Unni Mukundan’s latest film, “Marko,” has shattered box office records with a spectacular global opening of ₹10.8 crore. The film, which generated significant pre-release hype, lived up to expectations, attracting large audiences on its first day. This marks the highest opening of Unni Mukundan’s career.
Actor Anoop Menon lauded the film’s success, calling it “Unni Mukundan’s best film yet,” and praising director Hanif Adeni’s direction. He expressed his admiration for Mukundan’s dedication and commitment to cinema. The film’s music, composed by Ravi Basrur (renowned for his work in “K.G.F” and “Salaar”), and music rights acquired by Sony Music, also contributed to the film’s appeal.
“Marko” features Unni Mukundan in a rugged gangster avatar, with extensive action sequences choreographed by acclaimed action director, Kalai Kington. Kingston, known for his work in numerous films, designed seven elaborate fight sequences for this film, marking his first complete action film as fight master.
