**Sirsa, Haryana:** Former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala passed away on Friday at the age of 89 in Gurugram after a period of ill health. His body was taken to his family farmhouse in Teja Khera, Sirsa, on Saturday for public viewing before a state funeral at 3 PM.
The funeral is expected to be attended by numerous dignitaries, including Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. Family members, including his sons Abhay Singh Chautala (INLD leader), Ajay Singh Chautala (Jannayak Janata Party leader), and former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, are present at the farmhouse. Prominent Congress leaders Kumari Selja and Randeep Singh Surjewala also paid their respects.
The Haryana government declared three days of state mourning following Chautala’s death, with Saturday declared a public holiday. Chautala served as Chief Minister of Haryana five times. Large crowds have gathered in Teja Khera to pay their last respects.
