**CHENNAI, December 21, 2024** – More than 200 doctors from across India participated in “LARYNX 2024,” the inaugural conference of the Tamil Nadu Association of Phonosurgeons of India, held on December 20th and 21st. The conference, focused on voice, airway, swallowing, and head and neck oncology, featured lectures, panel discussions, and workshops led by prominent national and international surgeons.
Member of Parliament Kanimozhi N.V.N. Somu inaugurated the event, highlighting the increasing demand for specialized medical care in addressing voice-related issues, particularly among teachers, singers, and politicians. Organizing chairman Vidhyadharan Sivakumar emphasized the conference’s role in improving treatment for voice, airway, swallowing, and head and neck cancer problems through collaborative efforts.
