**Bangalore, India –** Bajaj Auto has unveiled its flagship Chetak 35 series electric scooters, featuring three variants: the 3501, 3502, and 3503. The new models boast a range of upgrades, including increased storage, enhanced technology, and improved charging times.

The scooters retain the familiar design of their predecessors but offer a larger 35-liter under-seat storage compartment—the largest among EV two-wheelers, according to Bajaj. This increased capacity is attributed to a new floorboard battery design. Further comfort enhancements include an 80mm longer seat and a 25mm increase in wheelbase.

A key feature is the new TFT touchscreen display, integrating maps, music control, call handling, and several safety features like remote immobilization, guide-me-home lights, geo-fencing, anti-theft protection, and accident detection.

All three variants utilize a powerful 3.5 kWh battery. The 3501 and 3502 offer a claimed range of 153 km. The 3501 charges from 0 to 80 percent in three hours, while the 3502 requires an additional 25 minutes. Both the 3501 and 3502 achieve a top speed of 73 kmph, and the 3501 includes an onboard charger.

The 3501 is priced at ₹1.27 lakh, and the 3502 at ₹1.2 lakh (both ex-showroom Bangalore). Details regarding the 3503 variant, including pricing and specifications, are yet to be released. The Chetak 35 series will compete directly with electric scooters from Ather, Ola, and TVS.
