**Sirsa, Haryana:** Former Haryana Chief Minister and prominent Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader, Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala, passed away on Friday at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. A state funeral was held today at his Tejakhera farmhouse, where thousands paid their last respects. His last rites were performed at 3 pm today.

Following his death, the Haryana government declared a three-day state mourning period and declared a public holiday in all government offices. Schools across the state were also closed today, December 21st, as a mark of respect.
