**VISAKHAPATNAM, INDIA (December 20, 2024)** – The Visakha Camera Club (VCC), one of Visakhapatnam’s oldest photography clubs, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a three-day exhibition showcasing 600 photographs by 19 members. The exhibition, opening today at Hawa Mahal on Beach Road, features a diverse range of genres, including travel, photojournalism, wedding, fashion, portraits, wildlife, and landscapes.

The exhibition highlights the work of prominent members like founding member B.K. Agrawal, showcasing his elegant portraits, fashion, and travel photography. Suresh Gorantla will display his unique matchstick photography and images from the annual Navy Day event. Vikram Penmetsa, an avid birder, will contribute stunning bird photographs from the United States. The exhibition also includes photojournalistic works from the T20 Cricket World Cup and the Araku Hot Air Balloon Festival.

VCC, an affiliate of several prominent photography organizations, has held six international exhibitions and two national exhibitions during its 25-year history. Looking ahead, President Suresh Gorantla announced plans for a coffee table book showcasing the beauty of Visakhapatnam and the surrounding region, including rare historical photographs. The club also plans to expand its workshops to include digital editing and mobile phone photography.

The exhibition, inaugurated by Visakhapatnam Police Commissioner Shanka Brata Bagchi and Bobbili MLA Swetha Kumar Ranga Rao, will run until December 22nd from 10 am to 8 pm. Those interested in joining VCC can leave their contact information at the exhibition.
