**CHITTOOR, December 20, 2024** – Police in Kuppam, Chittoor district, have imposed restrictions on the birthday celebrations of former Chief Minister and YSRCP chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, scheduled for December 21st. The restrictions, announced Friday, cite the concurrent visit of Nara Bhuvaneshwari, wife of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and trustee of the NTR Trust, to four mandals in the Kuppam Assembly constituency. Authorities expressed concern that unrestricted celebrations could lead to clashes between TDP and YSRCP supporters. The YSRCP cadre has been instructed to confine celebrations to the party office and refrain from public displays of celebratory materials. The Kuppam Assembly constituency is represented by Chief Minister Naidu.
