Fri Dec 20 14:24:19 UTC 2024: ## Rijiju Accuses Rahul Gandhi of Orchestrating Parliament Disruptions
**New Delhi** – Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of instigating the recent disruptions in Parliament. Speaking to NDTV, Rijiju, the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, claimed Gandhi instructed Congress MPs to create scenes, linking the disruptions to a US court case involving Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani.
Rijiju stated that after an agreement to resume parliamentary proceedings, Congress MPs renewed their protests, citing the US court case. He argued that involving numerous Indians in global legal matters shouldn’t paralyze Parliament. Rijiju emphasized that many Congress MPs desired to participate in parliamentary proceedings but were allegedly directed by Gandhi to obstruct them due to his focus on the Adani case.
The BJP has filed an FIR against Rahul Gandhi for allegedly assaulting two BJP MPs during the earlier clashes. Rijiju described Gandhi’s actions as “unfortunate and unbecoming of a Leader of the Opposition.” The Adani Group maintains that Gautam Adani and other senior executives are not implicated in the US case.
