**Hyderabad, India** – Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated sequel, *Pushpa 2: The Rule*, continues its box office dominance, raking in approximately ₹990.7 crore net in India within 15 days of its release. The film, also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, saw a strong second week, adding ₹15.97 crore net on Thursday alone. Its impressive weekend performance, boasting a 73.90% increase, further solidified its success. Globally, the film has surpassed ₹1508 crore gross.

However, the film’s phenomenal success has been overshadowed by a tragic incident. A stampede at the premiere in Hyderabad, attended by Allu Arjun himself, resulted in the death of one woman and critical injuries to her son. This led to the arrest of Allu Arjun and the theatre management, though the actor has since been granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court. Allu Arjun’s father and the film’s director, Sukumar, have visited the victim’s family.

The arrest has sparked controversy, with filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma questioning the actor’s detention on social media, drawing parallels to past incidents involving large crowds and celebrities. The incident has cast a somber shadow over the film’s otherwise triumphant box office run.
