**Hyderabad, December 20, 2024** – G.P. Sandeep, a former national-level archer, has successfully transitioned from the sports field to a career as an agricultural scientist. Sandeep, a 27-year-old native of Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, secured a position after passing the Agricultural Research Services (ARS) exam conducted by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB).
His journey began at the Telangana Sports School in Hakimpet, where he trained under renowned coach P. Ravishanker. Sandeep’s talent in archery led him to win a silver medal at the 2017 Junior Nationals. However, his academic pursuits continued alongside his athletic career. He holds an MSc in Agriculture from PJTA University and a PhD from the University of Agricultural Sciences in Bengaluru.
