**Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, December 20, 2024** – Namakkal District Collector S. Uma took action against a schoolboy riding a bike in school uniform during an inspection in Thoppampatti near Rasipuram on Thursday. The Collector stopped the student, a Class X student at a local government school, and ordered the seizure of his bicycle. The Regional Transport Officer (RTO) has been instructed to fine the boy’s parents for allowing him to ride the bike. The bike has been confiscated.
