**Kolkata, India –** The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) released the results of the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 on Thursday evening, revealing a strong showing by engineering students and male candidates. Of the 14 students achieving a perfect 100 percentile score, 13 were engineers, and 13 were male.
The IIMs will now begin the shortlisting process for the next stage of admissions, based on CAT scores and individual institute criteria. Shortlisted candidates will receive interview invitations directly from the respective IIMs.
Applicants selected for interviews must bring specific documentation, including original mark sheets and degree certificates, along with attested copies. Candidates claiming reservation under SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS, or PwD categories must also present original and attested copies of their relevant certificates.
Students in their final year of graduation must provide a certificate from their institution confirming they have achieved at least 50% marks (or equivalent) based on available grades. These candidates will be provisionally admitted, with final confirmation contingent upon submission of their final mark sheets and degree certificates by December 31, 2025. Failure to meet this deadline will result in automatic admission cancellation.
