TIRUCHIRAPALLI, December 19, 2024 – Significant power outages are scheduled for Tiruchirappalli on December 20th and 21st due to planned maintenance work by Tangedco at the city’s 110 kV sub-stations.
On December 21st, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., power will be suspended across a wide swathe of the city, affecting areas including the Central Bus Stand, Collector’s Office, major roads, numerous residential areas, and several villages. A separate, shorter outage is planned for December 20th, from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m., impacting areas in Lalgudi taluk, including Lalgudi Government Hospital and several villages. A complete list of affected areas is also available in the original announcement.
