HYDERABAD, INDIA – Former Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has responded to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) case filed against him concerning the Formula E race held in Hyderabad. The ACB filed a case naming KTR as the primary accused (A1), along with IAS officer Arvind Kumar (A2) and HMDA Chief Engineer B.L.N. Reddy (A3), alleging irregularities in the event.

KTR stated that if the government is truly committed to transparency, a legislative assembly debate should be held to address the allegations of corruption surrounding the Formula E race. He further asserted his willingness to clarify all facts related to the event.

BRS MLA Harish Rao raised the issue in the assembly, accusing the government of resorting to intimidation and filing false cases against KTR for his efforts in enhancing the state’s image.
