**Hyderabad, India** – Former Telangana Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) is facing a case filed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) related to the Formula E race held in Hyderabad. The ACB has registered a case against KTR under four non-bailable sections: 13(1)A and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, and sections 409 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. These charges allege misuse of government funds. KTR is listed as A1 in the FIR, with an IAS officer and the HMDA Chief Engineer named as A2 and A3 respectively.

KTR responded to the allegations in the state assembly, demanding a discussion on the Formula E race. He stated his willingness to participate in such a debate, asserting his innocence and challenging the government to prove its claims. He claims the race boosted Telangana’s image.
