**Mumbai, India – December 17, 2024** – Transrail Lighting, a Mumbai-based engineering and construction company specializing in power transmission and distribution, is set to launch its initial public offering (IPO) on Thursday, December 19th. The IPO will offer shares at a price between ₹410 and ₹432, aiming to raise a total of ₹838.91 crore (approximately $102 million USD).
The offering includes a fresh issue of ₹400 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of up to 101.6 million equity shares by promoter Ajanma Holdings Pvt Ltd, potentially raising an additional ₹438.91 crore at the upper price band. Investors can bid for a minimum of 34 shares. The bidding period will close on December 23rd, with the anchor book opening a day earlier. The shares are expected to list on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on December 27th.
Transrail Lighting, established in 2008, boasts a global presence across 58 countries, having completed over 200 projects. The company reported a net profit of ₹51.74 crore on revenue of ₹929.70 crore for the quarter ending June 30, 2024, and a net profit of ₹233.21 crore on revenue of ₹4,130 crore for the fiscal year 2023-24.
The net proceeds from the IPO will be used for working capital, capital expenditure, and general corporate purposes. The IPO allocation is reserved 50% for qualified institutional bidders (QIBs), 15% for non-institutional investors (NIIs), and 35% for retail investors.
Inga Ventures, Axis Capital, HDFC Bank, and IDBI Capital Market Services are the book running lead managers, while Link Intime India is the registrar.
