Tue Dec 17 14:01:36 UTC 2024: **Mysuru-Danapur Special Trains Announced for Kumbh Mela**
**Mysuru, December 17, 2024** – The Indian Railways will operate special trains between Mysuru and Danapur to accommodate the expected influx of pilgrims and passengers during the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. The Mela will be held from January 13 to February 26, 2025.
Three round trips are scheduled. The Mysuru-Danapur Express Special (06207) will depart Mysuru on January 18, February 15, and March 1, 2025 (Saturdays), arriving in Danapur on the following Tuesdays. The return train, Danapur-Mysuru Express Special (06208), will depart Danapur on January 22, February 19, and March 5, 2025 (Wednesdays), reaching Mysuru on Fridays.
The trains will stop at numerous stations en route, including major cities in Karnataka and several stops across central India. Each train will consist of 22 LHB coaches, including 12 AC three-tier, six sleeper, two general second-class, and two luggage-cum-guard coaches.
