**VISAKHAPATNAM, December 16, 2024** – The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) is prioritizing elderly, senior citizens, and the physically challenged at its Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS). GVMC Commissioner P. Sampath Kumar announced that special counters were arranged on Monday to facilitate their participation. Commissioner Kumar personally interacted with several attendees, inquiring about their needs and ensuring adequate seating and drinking water were available.
The initiative isn’t limited to Mondays; the GVMC offers daily complaint submission at designated counters within the office. Furthermore, citizens can directly submit grievances to the Commissioner or Additional Commissioners between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. daily.
