Tue Dec 17 04:23:56 UTC 2024: **SBI Telangana Home Loan Disbursements Surpass ₹10,000 Crore**

HYDERABAD, December 17, 2024 – The State Bank of India (SBI) Hyderabad Circle announced today that its home and home-related loan disbursements in Telangana have exceeded ₹10,000 crore in the first eight months of the current fiscal year (April-November). This figure represents 14,575 home loans and 5,732 top-up loans sanctioned.

The bank attributed this success to its 27 home loan centers across the state and a range of competitive products, including personal loans against property, home loan top-ups, and NRI home loans. SBI’s Hyderabad Circle Chief General Manager, Rajesh Kumar, highlighted the bank’s total home loan portfolio, which reached ₹66,249 crore as of November 30.

To further boost accessibility, SBI has introduced digital tools through its YONO app, allowing customers to apply for home loans without visiting a branch. The bank has also digitized its entire loan sourcing, underwriting, and documentation processes.

SBI is celebrating this milestone with a three-day property exhibition at Hitex from December 20, featuring over 50 Hyderabad builders. The exhibition will offer attendees a one-stop shop for residential properties and SBI’s loan products, including special concessions on processing fees and interest rates for those who book properties at the event. The bank’s nationwide home loan portfolio crossed ₹7.95 trillion on November 30, solidifying its position as a market leader.
