**New Delhi, [Date of Publication]** – The State Bank of India (SBI), India’s largest bank, has announced a massive recruitment drive for 13,735 Junior Associate positions in its clerical cadre. The vacancies are distributed across various categories: 5,870 unreserved, 2,118 for SC, 1,385 for ST, 3,001 for OBC, and 1,361 for EWS candidates. State-wise distribution of vacancies includes significant numbers in Uttar Pradesh (1894), Bihar (1111), Gujarat (1073), and Madhya Pradesh (1317), among others. **Eligibility Criteria:**

* Age: 20-28 years (as of April 1, 2024), with age relaxation for reserved categories.
* Salary: ₹17,900 – ₹47,920 (basic pay ₹19,900).

**Selection Process:**

The selection process comprises a two-stage online examination: a preliminary exam in February 2025, followed by a main exam in March/April 2025. Successful candidates will also undergo a local language test. The preliminary exam will consist of 100 objective-type questions (English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning) and will be of one-hour duration. Negative marking will be applicable (0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer).
