Navi Mumbai, India – Harmanpreet Kaur, captain of the Indian women’s cricket team, will miss the second T20I match against the West Indies due to a knee injury sustained in the first match. Smriti Mandhana will lead the team in her absence. India won the first T20I by 49 runs.

The West Indies won the toss and elected to bowl first in the second match. Mandhana explained Kaur’s absence, stating that she is resting due to the injury and is being monitored by the BCCI medical team. Raghavi Bishnoi has replaced Kaur in the playing XI.
