**Bengaluru, India (December 17, 2024)** – Nikita Singhania, the wife of Atul Subhash, who recently died by suicide leaving behind a note alleging harassment, has vehemently denied the accusations. Singhania claims she was, in fact, the victim of harassment at the hands of her late husband and that he was responsible for the current situation. She stated that the harassment was so severe she was forced to leave their home and seek legal assistance.

Singhania, along with her mother Nisha Singhania and brother Anurag Singhania, were arrested by Bengaluru city police after being on the run since Subhash’s death. The police tracked them down after tracing a missed call made by Nikita to a relative. While Nikita was located in a Gurugram paying guest accommodation, her mother and brother were found in Uttar Pradesh. The trio were produced before a city court and remanded to judicial custody at the central prison in Parappana Agrahara.
