**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh – December 17, 2024** – President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Andhra Pradesh today to attend the first convocation ceremony of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Mangalagiri in Guntur district. She was warmly welcomed at Gannavaram International Airport in Krishna district by Governor S. Abdul Nazeer.
Extensive security measures have been implemented by the Krishna, Guntur, and NTR Commissionerate police throughout the President’s visit, with heightened security at both the airport and AIIMS.
