Tue Dec 17 16:16:33 UTC 2024: ## Record Number of Women Enrol in IIM-Kozhikode’s Executive MBA Program
**Kozhikode, December 17, 2024** – The Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode (IIM-K) welcomed its largest and most diverse Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) cohort yet on Tuesday. A record 548 students, representing over 150 organizations and a wide range of industries, commenced the two-year MBA program. This year’s intake boasts a record-high 26% female participation, a significant step towards greater gender diversity.
Adil Zainulbhai, chairman of the capacity building commission and former chairman of McKinsey India, addressed the students at the induction ceremony, urging them to embrace a learning mindset and focus on innovation for a self-reliant India by 2047. IIM-K Director Prof. Debashis Chatterjee also presided over the event.
The incoming class showcases a considerable range of professional experience, with 30% of participants having six to nine years of experience and an average work experience of nearly ten years. Their backgrounds span diverse sectors including IT, public service, energy, aerospace, education, and finance. The program, delivered via an interactive learning platform, leads to an MBA degree.
