**Mumbai, India** – The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 mini-auction concluded on Sunday with a flurry of high-profile signings. Leg-spinner Simran Shaikh emerged as the most expensive player, fetching a staggering INR 1.90 crore from the Mumbai Indians. The auction saw a strong showing for young talent, with 16-year-old Tamil Nadu wicketkeeper-batter G Kamilini also joining Mumbai Indians for INR 1.60 crore.
West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin was the first player to break the INR 1 crore mark, securing a deal with Gujarat Giants for INR 1.70 crore.
