**Bengaluru, December 15, 2024** – Mumbai clinched the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2024 title after a thrilling final victory over Madhya Pradesh at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The tournament, which began on November 23rd and featured 38 teams, concluded its 135th and final match today.
Madhya Pradesh, batting first, posted a challenging 174/8 in their 20 overs, with captain Rajat Patidar leading the charge with an unbeaten 81 off 40 balls.
