**JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA** – Shaheen Shah Afridi has etched his name into Pakistan cricket history, becoming the first Pakistani bowler to achieve the remarkable feat of claiming 100 wickets in all three international cricket formats: Test, One Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 International (T20I).
Afridi reached this milestone during the recent T20I match against South Africa, capturing three wickets to take his T20I tally to 100. He has already amassed 112 ODI and 116 Test wickets. This makes him the third Pakistani bowler to reach the 100-wicket mark in T20Is, following Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan. Remarkably, in his 74th T20I match, Afridi became the second-fastest Pakistani bowler to reach this milestone after Haris Rauf, who achieved it in his 71st match.
This achievement solidifies Afridi’s position as one of Pakistan’s leading fast bowlers and a significant contributor to their international success across all formats.
