**New Delhi:** The Kapoor family celebrated the 100th birth anniversary of legendary actor Raj Kapoor with a special tribute, inviting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to a three-day film festival showcasing the showman’s iconic movies. The “Raj Kapoor 100 Film Festival,” running from December 13-15, will celebrate his significant contribution to Hindi cinema.

On Tuesday, a delegation of the Kapoor family, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and other family members, met with PM Modi in Delhi. A video of their meeting shows the Prime Minister engaging in warm conversation with each family member. He praised Raj Kapoor’s indelible mark on Indian cinema.

Saif Ali Khan expressed his admiration for PM Modi, stating, “You’re the first Prime Minister I’ve met who’s engaged with us personally, eye-to-eye, and even met us twice. Your energy is incredible; the hard work you put in is commendable.” PM Modi shared a fond memory of meeting Saif’s father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, expressing regret that he couldn’t meet the third generation, referring to Saif and Kareena’s son Taimur. This lighthearted exchange prompted smiles from the family. Kareena and Karisma Kapoor explained they had intended to bring their children but were unable to do so, later obtaining autographs for them from the Prime Minister.
