**MUMBAI, INDIA** – Allu Arjun’s *Pushpa 2: The Rule* continues its box office dominance, smashing records just eight days after its release. The film has already raked in a staggering ₹1032 crore worldwide, making it the second highest-grossing Indian film of 2024 and hot on the heels of the current leader, *Kalki 2898 AD*.

Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan reports that *Pushpa 2*, also starring Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and Jagapathi Babu, opened with a record-breaking ₹282.91 crore and has shown no signs of slowing down. Domestically, the film has crossed ₹687 crore, with a significant contribution from Hindi (₹398.1 crore) and Telugu (₹232.75 crore) audiences.

*Pushpa 2* is now only slightly behind *Kalki 2898 AD*’s ₹1200 crore worldwide total and is expected to surpass it in the coming days. These two films are the only ones to have breached the ₹1000 crore mark this year. Other high-grossing films of 2024 include *Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank* (₹874.58 crore), *The Greatest of All Time* (₹456 crore), and *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3* (₹421 crore), among others.

Remarkably, *Pushpa 2* is also the fastest Indian film to achieve ₹1000 crore in box office collections, beating previous records set by films like *Baahubali 2*. Its phenomenal success cements Allu Arjun’s position as a leading box office draw.
