**Hyderabad, December 13, 2024** – Ibrahimpatnam Inspector B. Satyanarayana has been attached to the Rachakonda Commissioner’s Office for alleged negligence in the investigation of a recent murder case. The action follows less than two weeks after a female police officer, Nagamani, was murdered by her brother for marrying outside her community.
While Nagamani’s brother, Paramesh, was arrested promptly, a second suspect, Shiva, remained at large since the December 2nd murder. Inspector Satyanarayana’s alleged delay in apprehending Shiva prompted the disciplinary action. A departmental inquiry has been launched.
