**Hyderabad, December 13, 2024** – Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan rushed to Hyderabad to visit the family of actor Allu Arjun following the actor’s arrest earlier today. Kalyan, who learned of the arrest, took a private plane to Hyderabad and is expected to meet with Arjun’s family to offer his support.
Allu Arjun was arrested earlier today in connection with an incident at a theatre. He was initially remanded to Chanchalguda Jail for 14 days. However, the High Court granted him interim bail following a hearing on his quash petition. This sparked celebrations among his family, the Mega family, and his numerous fans.
Prior to Kalyan’s arrival, several members of the Mega family, including megastar Chiranjeevi, his wife Surekha, and actor Naga Babu, visited Allu Arjun’s home to offer their support. Film director Sukumar and actor Rana Daggubati also paid visits.
The arrest prompted calls for protests across Greater Hyderabad from Allu Arjun’s fans. Organizers planned demonstrations in several areas, including Yusufguda, RTC Cross Roads, Kukatpally, SR Nagar, and Ameerpet, and even considered protests outside theaters showing *Pushpa 2*. However, the High Court’s decision to grant bail may significantly reduce the likelihood of these planned protests.
