**Dubai, UAE** – The second edition of the ILT20 Men’s Gulf Cricket Championship is set to begin this Friday, December 13th, at the ICC Academy in Dubai. The nine-day tournament, sponsored by the International League T20 (ILT20), will feature six teams representing Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
Sixteen T20 matches will be played in a round-robin format, culminating in a final on December 21st between the top two teams. Oman, the inaugural champions, will be looking to defend their title against strong competition. DP World ILT20 CEO, David White, expressed his enthusiasm, stating that cricket in the Gulf is experiencing significant growth.
The tournament will be streamed live in India via the FanCode app and website; however, no live television broadcast is currently scheduled for Indian viewers.
