**Hyderabad, December 13, 2024** – Pre-Christmas celebrations filled Raj Bhavan and the Secretariat with festive joy on Friday. At Raj Bhavan, Governor Jishnu Dev Varma joined staff and their children in celebrating, emphasizing the spirit of unity and goodwill. The event included carol singing by the Festival Choristers and the lighting of a Christmas tree. The Governor extended his Christmas wishes, urging everyone to embrace love, compassion, and harmony. Several distinguished guests, including retired IPS and IAS officers, also attended.
Separately, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar served as chief guest at the Secretariat Church’s Christmas celebrations, organized by the Christian Employees’ Association. Minister Prabhakar encouraged attendees to pray for global peace and emphasized the importance of following Jesus Christ’s teachings. Prominent figures from the AICC and Christian Minority Finance Corporation also participated.
