**New Delhi:** The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the admit cards for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official CTET website.

The exam, initially scheduled for December 1st and later postponed to December 15th, is now officially set for December 14th, 2024. However, CBSE has clarified that in centers with a high number of applicants, the exam may be conducted on December 15th as well. The admit cards were released two days prior to the exam, as per the previously issued notice.

The CTET 2024 will be conducted in two papers, corresponding to classes I-V and VI-VIII, respectively. Candidates aiming to teach both levels must appear for both papers. The exam will be held in two shifts: 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Question papers will be bilingual (Hindi/English).

Candidates are advised to carefully review the details on their admit cards, which include the exam center’s name and address. They must report to the examination center at least 120 minutes before the scheduled start time. Further details are available on the official CBSE website. Passing the CTET is a requirement for applying to teaching positions in schools under the central government, including Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and Kendriya Tibetan Schools.
