**Hyderabad, December 13, 2024** – Telangana’s IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu has announced an ambitious plan to transform the state into a $1 trillion economy within the next decade. This growth, he stated at the IAMPHENOM India conference on Friday, will be driven by strategic investments in emerging sectors like artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, and quantum computing.
The minister highlighted the importance of talent development in achieving this goal, citing initiatives such as the Young India Skills University. He emphasized the need for a future-ready workforce, praising companies like Hyderabad-based unicorn Phenom for their role in creating smarter workplaces and empowering individuals.
The IAMPHENOM conference, themed “Transforming the future of work with AI, automation and talent experience,” featured addresses from Phenom CEO and co-founder Mahe Bayireddi, president, COO and co-founder Hari Bayireddi, and Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra, who spoke on mental resilience.
