**New Delhi, December 13, 2024** – A 32-year-old man, Ravi Yadav, is fighting for his life after being shot multiple times in the Trilokpuri area of Delhi. Police say the attack, which occurred late Wednesday night, stemmed from a long-standing feud between Yadav’s family and that of Sunil Gupta, alias Golu.
Two of the three alleged assailants have been apprehended. According to police, Yadav was sitting near a bonfire when he was attacked. He was rushed to Max Hospital with critical injuries.
The incident follows a heated confrontation between lawyers representing both families at Karkardooma Court earlier this week, highlighting the ongoing tensions. Police confirmed that Yadav was involved in an attempted murder case against Golu earlier this year, involving a knife and stick assault.
A case has been registered under section 109/3 (5) (attempt to murder) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita. While police have made arrests, the investigation continues.
