**Bengaluru, December 13, 2024:** Veteran batsman Ajinkya Rahane continued his impressive resurgence, leading Mumbai to a convincing six-wicket victory over Baroda in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy semi-final. Rahane, playing as an opener, smashed a magnificent 98 runs, narrowly missing out on a century. His knock, studded with 11 fours and five sixes, was instrumental in Mumbai chasing down Baroda’s 158/7 with 16 balls and four wickets to spare.
