**Prayagraj, December 11:** Intense security preparations are underway in Prayagraj ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on December 13th. The Special Protection Group (SPG) conducted a thorough security inspection on Wednesday, traversing the route from Bamrauli Airport to the Sangam confluence. Shops along the route remained closed during the inspection. The SPG, present in Prayagraj since Tuesday, also conducted a trial run of the Prime Minister’s proposed route from Bamrauli Airport to Arail helipad on Tuesday. The team inspected key locations including Akshayavat, Saraswati Koop, and Hanuman Temple, which are all included in the Prime Minister’s itinerary. Final touches are being added to a new jetty at the Sangam ghat to accommodate the Prime Minister’s visit, with trial runs planned for up to 70-80 people at a time.
