**NEW DELHI, December 11, 2024** – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for submitting online applications for the UGC-NET December 2024 exam. Candidates now have until December 11, 2024, to submit their forms, following numerous requests.
The UGC-NET exam determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowships, Assistant Professor appointments, and PhD admissions in Indian universities and colleges. This year’s exam will cover 85 subjects and be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) by the NTA.
